Discovering What I'd Forgotten
I guess this month has been a surprise. Yes, because I realize I can go 30 days without spending money. But what's more surprising is all the things I've rediscovered because of this challenge.
I've found courage in myself to try baking bread. Some of my loaves have been flat or doughy, but some have been decent. The process is calming, hearty, wholesome, and reconnects me with my father (who used to bake bread every Saturday), even though he's miles away.
