As a first born there were lots of pictures of me, but not so many of my younger sister (she still complains to this day!).  When my second child was born, I tried very hard to find time to take pictures and videos not wanting him to one day complain like my sister.  I thought of a great idea and wanted to share it.

My son was born on September 26, so for the next 11 months on the 26th, I would turn the video camera on, point it at him and narrate for a minute or two what he was up to that month.  ie. This month you rolled over, now you are crawling and eating cheerios etc.  I never rewound that tape and after 1 year,  I had a continous reel (almost 1 hour in length) of what he looked like and did in his first year of life. 

He's already 8 years old and boy did the time go fast.  We love watching this tape and remembering how tiny he once was.
